SENIOR ADULTS

The Senior Adult Ministry, lead by Rev. Charles Ragland, Associate Minister and Director of Senior Adult Ministries, seeks to provide Bible study, activities, and ministry opportunities for Senior Adults to be involved in Christian fellowship, spiritual growth, and personal development.

Whether we get together to fellowship and enjoy an inspirational program at a Senior Adult Banquet, go on trips, or gather in groups to study the Bible, Senior Adults are busily involved investing their lives in the work of our church and Christ's kingdom.

Sunday School Classes

Joyful Truth Seekers Ladies Sunday School Class

Our name says it all. The Joyful Truth Seekers class is for ladies 60 to Glory! The Word of God is taught every Sunday in ROC-202 at 9:30 a.m. Our ladies are dedicated to the work of Christ through study, prayer, ongoing mission projects and fellowships. We have a place just for you and can't wait to get to know you!

The Unity Coed Sunday School Class

Our Unity Class is a coed class of senior adults. We attempt to live up to the biblical standard set in Colossians 3:13-14; "Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all togehter in perfect unity." Sunday mornings are a wonderful time of fellowship, worship in song and excellent Bible teaching in ROC - Fellowship Hall (2nd floor) at 9:30 a.m.

Senior Adult Men's Sunday School Class

For the men of our church family who are 60+ years of age, we offer a men's class on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. in ROC-204. You are invited to come a be a part of this small Bible study group whether you are widdowed, single or if your wife chooses to attend the Joyful Truth Seekers class.

Ministry Projects

Projects such as needlework, visitation and activites with our homebound ministry are scheduled periodically for ministry outreach. Our Singing Seniors enjoy presenting musical programs at retirement centers.
