Upward Sports general information

All age groups benefit from our well-rounded Sportslife Ministry. Many needs can be met at our excellent facility, such as: stress reduction, social, competition, physical fitness, fun and leisure. The spacious gym and fully equipped game room provide great places to play basketball, volleyball, pool, ping pong, and other games. Many enjoy walking and exercising in air-conditioned comfort. Softball, golf, picnics, and other events take place off-site. One of our key areas is Upward, a Christ-centered basketball or football and cheerleading league for 1st - 6th graders. Champions Golf Course

Fun Golf Event at Champions Golf Course. Meet at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, September 20, with a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m. $50 covers your greens fee, cart, prizes, lunch & drink. Register by Wednesday, September 16. sign up as an individual, pair, or a whole foursome. We'll play a captain's choice scramble, so invite your friends! Register here.

The ROC Gym will be closed on church holidays. Please refer to our calendar for additional information and any changes in the gym schedule. Leagues and special events may take priority over free play and normal gym hours.

Upward

Upward is an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for kindergarten through 8th grade boys and girls that promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in every child. In addition to basketball, Upward offers cheerleading and flag football as part of the Upward ministry. Upward volunteers are our church members and members of our community who come from all walks of life and are involved by praying for the program, coaching a team, refereeing a game, or sharing a devotion. It is open to all members of the community regardless of their religious background.

Yesha Ministry (Tae Kwon Do)

Have you always wanted to take karate lessons? Now's your chance! Yesha Ministries has been training students in Tae Kwon Do for over 25 years. The classes are open to all ages and experience levels. Everyone is encouraged to excel at a pace they are comfortable with. Twice a week classes are held for an hour and a half in our ROC Gym.

Times: Thursday at 6:30 pm
Saturdays at 9:00 am
Classes are FREE!
